I am a lawyer who loves to fish that married a woman who loves to work! Best thing to do is find a rich woman! Self-employment is the way to go, the only way. Set your own hours by how much you need. Forget what you want. Wants are for heathens. Christians have needs that must be met, but the farther we can stay away from the wants of the world the better off we are.

Does that sound like a sermon? It wasn't meant to be, but it is fine advice. By the way, it ain't mine. It is something that I was told that I am trying to learn.

Omg, watch out for the play on words. We wouldn't want it to be taken as an attack, lol.

Better have more than that going on too!!!! No bills go a long way as to how much you NEED to work. Car notes, boat notes, house notes will make you HAVE to work more. Self employed for a long time, sometimes it's good sometimes it ain't. By the way, I don't have any notes either.

Rees, right on! The fewer notes the fewer hours. When self-employment is bad, I think it is still better than working for someone else. There are extra headaches sometimes, but what you do is up to you. For me, that freedom makes all the difference in the world. Of course, ain't no shoe ever been made that will fit every foot.

Everybody has bills.....everything I own is paid for but I still have bills lol.....insurance, taxes, utility bill, gas bill, grocery bill, repair bills , maintenance ,etc. etc. the list goes on forever..... It still cost a fortune to live these days even without notes.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
