I have been off for a long time and have been looking at several things I can do from the house and still make decent money. My boat and old truck are both paid for. Just upkeep there. Thinking about becoming a guide just so I can fish more, LOL :fish
This is so true G, but if you have these neccesary bills as I call them, then you add add a house note, a couple of car and truck notes, then you go finance a big flat screen, and all your furniture in your house, pretty soon all your income is absorbed. Guess what I am trying to say is, if ya gonna keep up with the Jones you better have the Jones money! And keeping up with the Jones has never been one of my priorities.
Sammy is too high classed for WalMart....now Sam's maybe lol :biggrin
Like Neil Boortz once said, " You never truly own your home. If you think you do, try not paying taxes on it for a couple of years and see what happens."
Your right Speck
Spent 15 years as a fire-fighter, 24 hrs on duty / 48 off duty......hunt/fish/eat/slep!!! Just happened to have my best buddy/fishing partner at my station and on my shift. In fact, he slept in the bunk right next to mine. So we fished for 48 hours, then talked about fishing for 24 hours. Sort of makes me wonder why I ever left the fire service.....
Oh, now I am a college instructor. If possible, I work less than I did as a fireman!!!!
