Y'all know what I do....Worked 60+ hours a week in a food warehouse before I got me a guberment job. That everyday workin will drive a fella to drink! It always best to find something to do that you love and enjoy, even if the money ain't exactly great. Know that doesn't work out for most and we have to do what gotta do to take care of our families. I count myself lucky and blessed.
Life gave me lemons but I've managed to make lemonade out of a lot of em. Lucky to have good family and friends or that might not be the case.
4 to 5 weeks of vacation
Been there for 14 years. Plus I can work from anywhere as long as the job gets done. I need to tie more advantage of that :D
I work in the oil field.. 7 on/ 7 off.
BigC I don't know where you are missing the boat over there. My neighbor used to work over there and seemed like he was off at least one day in middle of week to fish or hunt. Plus weekends.
I worked 7 days a week ,12 hour shifts doing shut down work for 15 years, sometimes up to 6 months at a time. Then came heart problems, no bills here and I still don't get to fish but maby one day a week if I am lucky.I don't get to fish all that much but I still feel blessed just to be here
I am self employed. When you see me fishing twice a week it usually in the winter when my work is slow. If I have work on the schedule that comes first. Fishin is my favorite thing to do so I gave up hunting years ago. I would rather spend my free days on the water.
BTW, I as Donnie stated have no bills. My house is modest, but its mine, paid for, I usually pay cash for most of my purchases, I do not have any automobile payments, makes it easier to load up and go feshing if your not worried about bill collectors.
