The old rule was all wood had to be no longer than 4 foot. Plywood couldn't be over 18" wide. Can't be on the street, must be in the yard in a neat pile. Can't cover the sidewalk. They have the big trucks to take care of that now.
But there are other rules that aren't enforced, been that way since the city was started.
Plants can't be touched while walking on sidewalk.
Limbs can't impair any vehicle while on city streets.
Utilities, meters can't be blocked in any way. Most elect. meters are on the back of the houses, can't block them with a fence.
Utilities underground, everything is under ground in Horn Lake. can't be covered with concrete. The builders installed the water and sewer lines under driveways and sidewalks. You can't double your driveway if they are there. Need to find the power lines before laying a patio and walkway.
Permit needed before any concrete is poured.

Load it up and add to my pile, it's been sitting here since April. I add to it daily.
