    It always surprises me that the same folks who can identify ducks in the air when they're flying, white crappie from black crappie, bream from shellcrackers, white bass from hybrids from striped bass, and see a deer 500 yards away while traveling 70 mph. have no desire and seemingly no ability to identify a snake.

    I leave the venomous ones alone, too.
