    On the pic it looks like there is enough room. Are you putting your reels in the holders so the end of the rod sticks out beyond the holder, towards your knees?

    Exactly what I was thinking and what I do. End of the rod barely in the holder.

    Trolling motor does go in the middle where the puck is. I usually put the reels in the holder when I pull cranks but haven't tried spider rigging yet so didn't know how I would put them. Couple of pictures here no way I could have them with the reels in holders but possibly with them on the very end. Attachment 126294Attachment 126295

    As someone mentioned earlier, can you move that rack mount more out to the curve in the rail? They would not be right in front of you but off to the side a bit.
