I want a 1000 yard AR!!! BUT, until I get one I'll just stick with the Barrett

My best Kill shot to date was 511 yards, checked both ways!!!! Winchester mod. 70, firing a Win. Ballistic Silvertip 300WSM in 150 Gr. that's 32.5' high with a 200yd sight in.

Do the home work on the range , not on a computer, i've used bout every ballistic caluculator and none are that accurate past 500yds. i dont holdover , i dial in with the turrets, i sight in for under 500yds by putting POI at 3.25in. high at 100yds, shoots great to 450yds. And dont under estimate some of the DPMSs, the'll shoot with the best off the shelf rifles out there. How much you wana bet by summers end i'll be shooting way under 30in groups at 1000yds with my Factory DPMS?????? I'll keep some salt n pepper handy, cause you gona eat those words! I have the load that will do it, just gota put in the range time at that yardage. Btw , my longest 1 try, 1 shot kill with it this yr. was 538yds on a sitting yote.

I'll bet ya lunch. And believe me, sizing you up...that's at least 4 to one odds in your favor.
