A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Dpms AR for 1,000 yards? Puh-lease. I'm sure it would scare a knot in their knickers since its a 308, but that's about it.

600, yeah, sure, maybe. But 1k requires a real gun if you want to get serious about it.

Blow that smoke up someons that dont know guns WB, while you do your research, see how many 308s and 30-06s have been used for snipeing before the fancy magnums were introduced.

If 2 inches high at 100, how much is your 308 dropping at say 500 and 1000? I shoot a 308 when I shoot and have not attempted anything outside of 380 yds. Just wondering just in case I get the itch one day. My range finder only goes out to 500 but maybe I can count light poles or something.

Don't get me wrong, a 308 is quite capable at 1,000 yards of one shot kills. Just ask anybody Carlos Hathcock ever put crosshairs on including a confirmed kill at 1 mile which is 1,760 yards. The round is more than adequate.

Your gun ain't. Matter of fact, u be lucky to get a 36" group out of that rattle bag on a dead calm day at 72 degrees. Heck...it ain't even a good AR.

    Pffft.

Bird, gonna need more data for that calc at 500 and 1,000. Bullet, coefficient and muzzle velocity.

Can tell you a 150 grain boat tail with .408 ballistic coefficient and muzzle velocity of 2820 and zero at 100 drops 56.416 inches at 500 yards.

Ranges like this really require specifics.
