A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I too was wondering how you were liking the Blackhawk.

What pound thrust are you running on it?

Does the wind blow it around much while fishing?

How do you think it does on fuel?

Do you feel that the center console "crowds" you when passing it?
I had a Polar Kraft CC and it was to wide and you felt crowded going around it.

I'm wanting to upgrade because my 1648 is just to small for 3 kids and wife so they all have to take turn about going. Plus, my dad has issues with his legs and balance and the 48 inch bottom is to wobble for him. The last time that he went with me he fell and broke 4 of my rods so, I want something that's wide and stable and with the center console he would have something to hold onto.

I would like to have the Tomahawk storeage in the back and high (one level) front deck on the 2170 but, I'm sure all that custom work would SERIOUSLY increase the price.

I'm happy the way it performs in the wind.

It sips gas at 4,000-4,500 rpm's. Above that the mpg drops off fast.

The center console has never bothered me. It is a pretty good ways back to it. They do build the 2170 Blackhawk in a side console.

As far as the high deck, I doubt it would cost more. They have to weld a deck in anyhow, regardless of the height it goes.

The rear deck? I don't know; it may interfere with the flotation layout.

I was running Dura-craft made by the Ward family for 20 years, until they sold the company. I used them running a duck camp. When the water was up in the lower White River we daily jumped logs, roads, and anything else in our way. They were rivited boats then, but they would last us about 10 years. When they started making Wareagle I stayed with them. The family hunts and fishes are aware of what people need in the field. You bought a good boat.
