Default Continuing to fish after a limit?

This was brought up in another thread.Someone posted about the GW telling them they would get an over the limit ticket if they brought another fish within the sphere of their boat my ? is.Can you not continue to fish after you'v caught a limit if you catch and relesse not cull but throw everything back?Say you knew where the fish are and go out and catch your limit by 2:00 then want to go check out some new spot's to see if they have fish why could you not catch and relesse?Look's like if the fish were not in your live well, stringer or cooler they would not be cosidered in your possission.

THAT WAS ME . THOUGHT HE WAS NUTS . SINCE I COULD AT LEAST CATCH BREAM, CATFISH ECT. AFTER CATCHING A LIMIT OF CRAPPIE . WAS NOT WORTH THE HASSEL . WENT HOME AND MOWED THE GRASS . Had almost the same thing deer hunting . killed a nice 8 pt. . and was checked (at kill site ) went scouting that afternoon for the next day hunt . when I came out of the woods the same warden was there and questioned my hunting . I asked him if it was legal for me to kill a doe/buck a day ? he said yes and drove away .these were in two different parts of the state Panola/Lincoln , Ms.

I don't believe that's right. I've always known the guys in Jackson to be straight up. That would mean I'd have to throw one back before I culled it????

Who did you talk with at Jackson?

Just keep one fish less than a limit and cull until you find the one you want.

If ya don't want a ticket or headache, quit at the limit. If ya like to argue with G&F officers, sit in court to defend yourself, and have a badge looking for you to slip up, keep fishing.

Rees, thats the truth, but they got the badge and I don't like the man... Plus if I have a limit, better go on and find a lottery ticket to buy somewhere.
