    That impellor pictured does not show much wear but the blades have taken a set which they all do over time and that reduces the efficiency of the pump.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    I got a 60 horse Mercury and you best not even look at the key unless it's in the water or the water hose on it.

    I have just bumped the starter before and messed it up.

    I have changed it about 3 times that I can remember, I buy them two at a time now.

    I usually put a little grease on mine to aid in getting it all in there.
    It's CRAPPIE season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
