Here is his question again GD: "Let me ask you Digger. Who do you think puts more pressure on the fish year round? Locals or non residents?" Please respond to it and lets get this over.

No petition necessary. A moderators job is tough!! Trust me! Most of the time it is a judgement call whether and when to take action on a thread. Each mod, not only on the MS board, but on every board has to do what they think is best for the site. I did ask Sat to unlock the thread so I could get an answer to my question. I understand that it was totally his call whether to unlock it or not and I would respect his decision either way. Nothing against G either. Missisippi has some of the most fair moderators on Crappie.com.

What Speck said. Sometimes you folks do not understand why we do what we do because you do not know or have not seen everything that we have. You do not see complaints made by the report a post button, you do not see PMs, texts, and emails. etc. Sometimes we just have to use our own descretion and make a judgement call. We do not do this for the heck of it....we have a good reason. Sometimes even if we explained the reason to you....you would not get it because you do not know the whole series of events that might have taken place or contributed to the decision. We just try to do the best we can for you and for Slab thats all we can do.....there is no way that we can always make everybody happy.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

We would probably be more understanding if something like that was referenced when a thread was locked instead of "OK this horse has been beaten enough, give it a rest for a while!" A response like that leads us to believe Rusty just doesn't agree with the direction a thread is taking.
