I would like for the guy's from other states only to respond.I'v been called out on thinking that the lakes and fish in MS. are mine and I gusses I did come off as over protective. My ? is and I want yall to look deep and reply honstely. If yall had the big 4 and started having this huge influx of out of state fishermen would you not get alittle over protective and look at them in a kinda bad way.Duck hunting is like that in AR. the locals kinda think the public ground is theirs and don't care to share with out of staters.Several yrs ago MO. was like this with turkey hunting locals did'nt like out of staters on their public land.I'm admitting I'v made some mistakes and do not want this to become a bashing thread.I think most can see where I was coming from it just came out wrong.Like I'v said typing on this thing aint like sitting around and talking.

Personally, I'd be happy if people came to my state and add as much money to our economy as we do for Mississippi.
As far as duck hunting in AR goes. Yes, people (residents and non-residents) raised a fuss when the guides went into the WMAs and set up permanent locations. This prevented anyone else, resident AND non-resident, hunters from hunting those public areas. After three years of complaining and study, AGFC made necessary changes. BTW, the locals (non-guides) aren't allowed to set up permanent spots either. So you see, your analogy just doesn't wash. If pressure needs to be reduced why haven't the MDWFP presented any supporting data. Simple.

One question: Do you enjoy paying $32 for a Sportsman license? There is a lot of money coming into MS via out of staters-fishermen..

Legal is legal... If u dont like it take it up with YOUR law makers. There is just to much other stuff wrong with our society and shouldnt be worrying about who fishes where
So the answer to your question is i wouldnt care if the big four was in my home state.
I also bet all the business owners dont mind either
Last time i checked this a free country you can travel to any state you want and do whatever as long as you obey the law a bunch of men and women have died for this country not one particular state. Those lakes are funded by federal funds so the right to use them belongs to all of us.

Exactly, which helps keep other costs down by helping offset them. I've spent an average of $1000 a month here, not a bundle by any means, but it all adds up, not to mention the local economy, jobs, etc. Some people can't see past their noses though.
