    May be as simple as removing the floor above the hook and hammering it out a little. Not sure the issue tho. If the hook is excessive, it may need the transom removed and re welded, but it depends on what's actually wrong with it.

    BTW, a hook can be an accidental dent in the hull, and can be anywhere near the rear of the boat causing serious handling issues. It can also be caused by a weld on the transom being lower or bigger on one side causing the boat to pull or drag to that side, as well as drag the bow down to that side causing the issue. It just depends on where the hook is, and what caused it.
