    Had some warranty issues and they are going to get the hook out

    I didn't know that tin boats had hook built into their design for stability.

    Torch's boat. Builder said there was too much hook and cant see how torch was even driving it. Gonna get it fixed and a few minor things concerning the live/bait wells.

    Lots of builders use a bit of a hook to tame the front end of the boat. Keeps em from porpoising so bad, and beating your spine through your skull on a Mod V boat.

    If you're looking for speed without porpoising, you can beat about 1/8" hook into the back of the boat to cure it. I haven't done it myself, but I know a few Bayou Meto boat racers who have.
