Be thankful she cares enough to try and keep you around for Geezerdom. Some would try to keep you from it. It will get better, gave up chewing and drinking 31 years ago. Don't miss the drinking but sometimes, not a lot, when fishing I sure could use a chew.

When you are drinking and start to crave a smoke just have another drink. You'll be asleep quick, trust me.

I quit smoking Feb, 11 2001. My brother quit a year before me and he gave me some advise, that I will share. When you Tell yourself "I gotta have a smoke right &$@"ing now!!!" if you just wait about 10 minutes that craving will pass, and you are that much closer to really quitting.

I was very fortunate. May 12, 1985 I ran out of smokes and couldn't get any. The Lord was looking after me. I said "I quit". Haven't had one since. Never wanted one again. Doesn't bother me to be around smokers at all. One little warning. Several weeks after I quit I could really taste all the foods I liked. Didn't know what I had been missing. Boom! Put on weight like crazy. Not smoking is worth it, though. Your Honey might tell ya that it's more pleasant to kiss you cause you don't smell awful. Good luck. Hang tuff. It IS worth it.
