    Default Supper

Fixed 2 big pots of vegetable soup.1 for supper.1 to bag up and put in the freezer!2 pans of cornbread.1 messecan,1 regular!I've been on a diet and have lost 12 lbs.I had to pass on the cornbread. Sure hate it!No bread, pasta, rice, unless it's brown. No soft drinks, sweet tea, or sugar of any kind and have been eating salads and fruit like it is going out of style. Feel a lot better!Gotta lose another 40 lbs.Gonna start walking soon and then jogging!

Jogging is hard on the joints.......a good brisk walk is a lot better.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Slablapper, next time you make mexican cornbread try this, make it your regular way but take a can of rotel with chilies and drain all the juice off it real good and add it to you mix before the milk. Then add the milk to get the consistency you want. You talkin bout good cornbread.

Just before I had back surgery 2 yrs. ago I was running 4 to 7 miles a day 6 days a week!I'm gonna start out walking progressing to a walk jog then prolly a full jog. With this extra weight right now a fast walk would be best! Thanks for the suggestion GDG, I'll give it a try!I used 2 fresh Jalapenos a small can corn and some extra sharp cheddar! All the family said it was good. I sure hated to pass on it!
