Yikess that is what I was saying in my first post.A wader uses his boat for tranpertation from spot to spot and fishish with 1 pole.Loading the pontoon with more people (on the big 4)mean's more hook's in the water and not everybody on the boat may be fishing just being used for their license.I'v seen it 7-8 folk's on a pontoon poles hanging out everywhere and mabey 3 out of the bunch doing all the fishing. Instead of a boat limit of fish do a boat limit on poles like 6 poles to a boat no matter how many people are on board and enforce it.

I understand what your saying but doesn't setting a boat limit of 40 or 50 take care of it? I'm not sure that it matters how many poles you use to get to the boat limit but once your their your done.

Just go by the rules and don't worry about it.....if the other guy cheats and you see it....make a phone call. The ones that you don't see are gonna do it anyway but eventually they may get caught. I have a neighbor that cheated commercial fishing for years....he finally got caught.... they took his commercial license away and fined him 10 grand.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
