    You know it has to be good when the gravey has a little brown color to it. I don't like my gravey white as snow. Looks Good.

    Ahhh sausage gravy. An old gentleman (now disceased) showed me how to make tomato gravy one morning when we were cooking breakfast for a bunch of guys. I had never heard of tomato gravy, but it is made just like sausage gravy except he cut up fresh ripe tomatoes (home grown) and cooked them in the gravy to add liquid instead of milk. He used milk too, but augmented it with the tomatoes and simmered it for a while and man it was good.

    Better hold on for the sugar rush lol. My grandma makes it from time to time when our family comes to visit and stuff. Can never get enough
