I agree with you on that one Mr. Jim. Not fun cleaning a limit of crappie since we don't eat a lot of fish.

It will not take any pressure Sardis it will double it.Who cares if you can only keep 15.To most people that is plenty and in my opinion Sardis crappie are some of the easiest to catch.

Only reason I would figure they would be doing this would be due to an over population thing? IDK

What is wierd about this is, why not implement this rule on Enid? From what is posted on this board there are too many 10-11" fish in Enid and some of this class fish need to go.
Although, I only fish Grenada and have never fished any of the others, and do not know about the small size of the fish at Enid first hand.

I think that these proposed changes go back to this time list year when a lot of folks were yammering about wanting to lower the length limits on the Big 4. Remember? Some folks wanted to go back to 10 inches. Well in response to that, the "boat limit" was instituted at 50 per boat with 3 or more anglers. Now they are proposing to lower the length limit as well as the possession limit on Sardis. This appears to be a preview of what's to come for all the Big 4. Someone once said: be careful what you ask for; you may just get it.

I don't see anything wrong with it myself......just can't understand why they don't do the others all at the same time

We fish Enid and Grenada more then the other two and for every 12 1/2 fish we catch way more 11 1/2 or smaller fish.

I would think the chose Sardis for the experiment just because it gets so much more pressure than the other lakes. Best way to do a study and get results in short order. Leave Enid alone ain't no big fish there anymore. You guys go on down to Grenada. Me, Sat and Eagle1 will keep an eye on it for you guys
