    Y'all realize just how many crappie are stacked up in the spillway right now to be able to snag one with a single #2 hook. Gonna take more folks then I see fishing for them to do a whole lot of damage. There will still be plenty to be flushed down river to the mighty Mississippi. The way y'all talk about WB catching fish we could ask Game and Fish for a exception to allow him to use a gill net down river when them crappie head that way! LOL.
    Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

    John.....they are caught all the time downstream in the river system.....thats how sloughs, oxbows, etc., etc. get replenished with fresh water and fish.....the flow out the spillway puts new water, nutrients, and fish into the system down below.
