Some folks don't have a boat and bank fishing is all they got. Game and fish legalized snagging. As long as the law is upheld I say so be it.I've caught many a crappie on cranks that wacked at it but missed and got hooked every kinda way as long as they were legal in size I kept them!Thank God for them 60 hooks I was pulling!

Dont see nothing wrong with it,after they get flushed down the spillway it a lost resource.30 years ago there wasnt a limit on them below the dam.

I would like to hear of some reports of these crappie being CAUGHT down steam some where, never happens with the exception of the lower lake at Sardis and those get slammed anyway by trollers, but that is ok. Right?

I've caught a ton in and below Grenada each of the last 3 years running. Cork and jig and jig pole. Also had one very good day at Enid. So there, Pffft.

I remember that morning WB posted pics of two fish he caught last year below the spillway. That kind of banner morning just overwhelmed him and a "ton" is just a figure of speech.
