    fried is one way or like grits only way more together and firm--either way is good--but it's not runny--least how I've every had it.

    Your right its Yellow Corn Meal. Its kinda thick not runny you can eat with a fork. Its called Polenta or Mush

    GRITS . lol I have made some polenta and put it in the fridge, then once it firmed up, grilled it. Purdy good stuff

    DD when I was a kid mom used to do that then fry in skillet then put maple syrup on for our breakfast.
