    For that pot roast, Taters, and cornbread! 3 coats of the wipe on poly that G told me about, man I like that finish G. Just got home from Lowes and got the milk paint to do the base with, should be close to finished tomorrow nite.

    She slipped in and seen it when it was all in pieces Feesh but she hasnt seen it this far along, now I did let her pick the stain cause I dint wanna get that wrong. lol Took a piece of the same lumber that the top is made out of and took it to pick the stain. Its looks nice and finished but also has a little rustic look to it and she said that is what she wanted. Thnx for the lowdown on that fishish G, I will be using it again. Comes out smoother than brushing the other on for sure.

    Yep.....that is a great finish and there is no way you can mess it up....its so easy to do and I think it looks great.....been using that for a long time now. I like the satin finish best....the look reminds me of the old hand rubbed oil finishes
