    Boy that is some fine looking lumber. Can't wait to see the finished product.

    You struck the nail on the head there. You don't see wood that fine everyday especially virgin wood. It would of been cut this day in time fer sure. Congrats on the fine lookin wood again gdg, I know yer sher prowd.

    It should Sammy. Are you just going to butt joint and glue the boards or are you going to make a rabbit joint....or are you going to butt and use bisquits? I use the bisquits a lot and really prefer that method.

    Prolly gonna use the pocket hole just G. With wood glue. I have done em this way before and its so easy to do and fast. And as soon as you get it put together you dont have to wait. NO drying time.

    To me, it is hard to beat butt with bisquits. It's really the best of both worlds. G really knows his stuff. Good luck gdg!

    Not gonna do a whole lotta finishing on it G. Prolly sand it down to 220 and be done with it. She is wanting that antique look to it. Legs and runners will be antique black and I am thinkin Early American stain with a flat poly on the top.

    Black legs are nice. What color is early American stain?

    Just really darkens up the pine a little Slimey. Not a whole lotta color to it just makes the pine darker and doesnt take away from the grains. Its between a medium and a dark brown
