If it makes the popping sound when yout turning its a CV joint.....if its going left its the left one. If it does it turning right then its the right one. If turning is not involved to make the popping noise then its possibly a wheel bearing. The wheel bearings on your truck are not serviceable......you have to replace the whole hub as a assembly.
