Im not from Sippi but im on this board more than any other. I enjoy all you guys and gals,even WB. I like all the fun makin and bickering and like it how it is. Why not put a password to get on off topic and let everybody have fun.

There's another idea and a good one

Wilbur, I like your idea. But I would tweak it to if you post, oh let's say 4 or 5 thousand comments a year that makes you a Super Poster. And for being a Super Poster you are rewarded with your very own Super Poster Board which is the board you must post on. And everyone has to have a top secret password to come hear your words of wisdom.

Kinda funny this popped up on Crappie.com at the same time we had a guy banned on a SC hunting and fishing forum of which I am a member. I have to admit I was one of the folks who found his comments to be vulgar and uncalled for. All to do with the 2 state football rivals.

One thing I discovered is that on that forum you can click on anyones name and select ignore and none of his posts will show up on your website as long as you are logged in under your name.Is that feature also on this forum?

I have not felt the need to use that on this website, but I am not surprised that feelings have gotten elevated. I hear over and over, "It is all in fun and we just poking at each other" You can keep believing that if you want to, but I know for a fact that if you keep harping on someone long enough they are going to reach a point where "It ain't all in fun anymore" and words start flying.
Our Moderator banned this particular guy after he had sent a PM warning him that if he did not clean up his act he would get banned. I know the moderator and I know he does not take that action lightly. Having shared a few PMs with Ed(Slab) I believe he is cut from the same cloth and if he bans someone, they deserved it.
However if the ignore option is available it might save a few hurt feelings. Anyone know if it is??
