    t from my dang phone I am frying fish for about 30 people tomorrow. about 7 small kids and about 23 ,24 adults. All the fixins, Cole slaw, fries, hushpuppies, baked beans. I have 8 packed quart bags thawing out. Is this enuf fish?

    It should be.......You probably got 15 fillets to the bag.

    If they are COE "over 12" filets, 2 per person should feed folks. I like to slice the big filets lengthwise to get a crisper filet, that actually makes 4 pieces per person.

    I think you have more than enough to fill everybody's tummy.

    You have more rhan enough. Bout 3 per person n 3 for every.2 kids. Should put y9u at bout 85 pieces of fish. Cook.a few extra n run em by my house lol

    I'm with ya pops, cut them longways and make them somewhere around 1 inch. Cooks better and eats better and 8 bags is a bag too much, but cook it anyway.. I luv leftover fish sandwiches

    Mamaw always taught me to cook enough extra for unexpected visitors. Nothing worse than being at a cookout and there isn't enough food. Nothing wrong with leftovers and there is usually always someone at a fish fry who doesn't get fish often and would appreciate a doggy bag.

    i always figure half a pound per person if im doing fries and hush puppies and it seems to work
