    Default Where

can I find some info on a wiring harness for a 90 model Merc. The controls on the Astro are for a 90 model motor but my motor is an 82. Not many differences tho, temp gauge and the trim being the only two that I can find. Temp gauge really not an issue as I have a water pressure gauge but the trim units are completely different as far as hook up. The 90 model was self-contained and the 82 has an external pump. I need to know where to find the three wires and their color codes to attach them to the external pump. Thanks guys.

OK, yesterday I only got one smart ellic answer from Minner. Traced the wires on the old motor and it is a 2 wire where the unit I am installing is a 3 wire. the older one does have a third wire but it is a hot wire so it dont count. Kinda bum fuzzled rite this minute, any ideas.

You should have kept the controls, cables, and control wireing harness off of your old hull
