My parent, we would spend the weekends at Sardis and fish the spillway from dawn to dusk.
My uncle, after he got a boat, we learned together how to slow troll Enid lake.
pstone, we never met, but he called while we were on nader. Telling me what to do next since the weather was a little nasty.
crappietime, for showing me some new water and some good spots on Priest lake.
To a whole bunch of ya'll for sharing advice and stories, good and bad.

have learned to not necessarily rule out anything at anytime . like fishing 4-5 ft. of water in july heat . actually not many point blank tips ( happens when you do something 40 yrs .) but the ability to put cc members ideas with past experience (gives you new ideas ) is worth a lot to me .Viewed this site for quite a while before posting. Would have to give a big to all of the members .

Ive thought about this overnight, and I think that I've learned how to be a better fisherman the most by fishing with all the guys and gals at the FJs. In my experience, everyone that did well, or won the events were very informative (I had to ask, and they DID tell me) about how, when, and where they caught their winning stringers (AFTER the tourney, and you can't blame them for that). It's helped me to learn about the lakes quicker, and how to fish them more effectively. The guys and Gals you see every month fishing these tourneys are truley dedicated fishermen and women, and very willing to share their knowledge!!!! Thank You All!!!

First and foremost my dad taught alot about fishing and got me hooked when I was kid. On c.c I have learned from several people, Yikes helped me get started pulling cranks, Feelay, Wannabe, G3, Torch, and Mr Jim all helped me along the way by answering my questions. I'm sure I have left out someone but to everybody who has helped me Thanks !!!

You makin this hard on an old man. I've learned so much reading everything on the board and from members at the Crappie Camps and some of the FJs. To single out one fella, it would have to be Feelay. The man has the patience of Job when it comes to novices. Learn something new every time I get around him.

I was a single pole bobber fisherman. After I joined this site, and a couple grand lighter, you guys taught me to spider rig and pull cranks. Two years ago I would of never thought you could catch a crappie on a crankbait. Thanks to all you wonderful guys and gals. I appreciate it. Especially me being a yank and all.
