As for me and my boat, we will leave the lake closing to the MDWFP. And when I visit a crappie fishing forum I expect to read and see about crappie fishing. Does it have an effect? Yes. Is it negative? I don't know. That's MDWFP's job to determine.
Maybe we are just thinning all them fish out of the low water that got so big in last years high water. Again, I don't have a clue. But if this is your burden to carry, contact the fisheries biologist and hold them accountable for doing their jobs.
Attempting to belittle a fisherman for fishing or a poster for posting pics and fishing stories is not the way to do it.

If I ever get to go fishing again, I'm gonna post what I do or don't do.Not to be bragging that I'm a great fisherman, but if it helps out someone with having a great day on the water then so be it.Post or don't post, it's up to you.I say break out mommas ironing board!!!

If I ever get to go fishing again I don't mind posting pics or reports, I just haven't had the time to go fishing in about three months, but hopefully I'll get on the water in a month or two. Who knew buying a new house would be so much work.

I like to see and read about feeshn.Prolly dont help a particular (hot) lake,but word will get out anyways.Corps says 80% of all legal fish gets caught yearly.

I know Feelay . Wasn't talking bout you. Just sayin that posting pics don't impact the lakes any more than guiding.

Posting pics and reports impacts the availability of close parking spots at the ramp! Most y'all gewbers ain't hurting the fish population.
