We need a feel good thread!!!
Who was the first Crappie.com member you met after joining? Here is my story.

Some of the MO guys decided to have a spring crappie camp at Grenada in March of 2006. I have been fishing the big four for several year, so I rented a cabin at the state park and joined in. The first night there, a local guy showed up and gave us all tips on how and where to fish. He came back the next day and let some of us follow him around as he showed us good areas. THANK YOU PSTONE!!!!!! I couldnt believe how helpful a local guy could be to a bunch of out of state guys.

Well, in October of 2006, Willsjwills and a few others decided to put together the first Mississippi crappie camp at Sardis. There was NO WAY I would miss this. I packed my tent ad camping gear, hooked up the boat and headed for Sardis. As I was setting up camp, a red headed dude pulled up and asked if I was with the Crappie.com group. I said yes. He said, "Glad to meet ya, I'm Rip-a-lip." David then invited me over to his campsite which was right behind mine. He introduced me to a few other guys. We sat around and drank a few cold beverages.

Later that evening, we all met at the Smokin M for supper. I sat at a table with two or three other guys. The one sitting across from me introduced himself as Yikess. We all had a great time. Talking about crankbaits and fishing in general.

At the fish fry Saturday night, Mr. John aka Willsjwills and some others worked their rear ends off putting on one heck of a feed!!!! I met Mr. Jim that evening also.

The first I met was badluck. Helped him keep his boat from catching a fire.
