Shouldnt have to lower them with a rope. The boo will "parachute" them to the bottom and leave them verticle. Does with a a bucket anyway.
Boo will float more weight than ya think. I put mine in 5 gallon buckets. The corp piles up lots of weight beside the ramps at Columbus that is jus right to put in the buckets before droppin em in. I reckon that's what all that rip rap is there for.

I think 1/2" PVC wud work great, but this was meant to be a low budget condo. Cost so far is time and gas to get the cane, I was going there anyway, the rim was junk, and the quickcrete was $2.50. I made 2 for $5 and using PVC, which works great if u sand it, would be close to 10 times the cost..
Check out plumbing wholesale dealers, lawn service companies that do plumbing. Ask for their scrap pvc.
Great screen shot.
