    You better go back to an 04 at least if you are lookig at Ford. In that year range the 6.0 SUCKS and you most likely can find one cheap but watch out. 7.3 is a beast!!!!

    If you can get 7.3 ok would not buy a used 6.0. And just for reference where I used to work we had a ford dealership that did nothing but 250 and up Fords and was in and out of there every day. Saw all the things that can and will go wrong with them.

    i've had a 7.3 ford, a 5.9 cummings, and am currently in a 6.6 duramax all of these were 1-ton dually trucks. i pull/haul heavy loads all the time and have a pipe rack that catches a lot of wind. i have always averaged about 15 mpg in all of them.

    Yep. I was the Service Manager for their Leasing dept for 10 years.

    Theres a 07 on jacksons craigslist for 6000 needs motor which is around 8-10 installed have roughly 15-16 in it and a new motor. My buddy Wick at southland truck center will take care of you.

    6000 with no motor is a bit high I would think? but no clue on these buggers

    I've been thinking about getting a f250 so I could pull my camper some other places other than from the lake side store at Enid to Wallace creek. Looked at a gas burner but that thing probably only got 6mpg
