Exspect a report on this experiment on Monday the 23rd.

On the Coosa River over here where we fish they generate power at the dams and it changes from day to day and weekdays & weekends can be different in the amount of water moving through the lake. The fish will turn off and on according to the amount of water they pull. They also cut it off and on through out the day and night so it is constantly changing. If you find fish biteing one day they may not bite the next due to this problem. I have had better luck by not pre fishing, just go with an educated guess.

I think it helps, especially on a new to you lake. It helps in learning not only the fish patterns and locations, but also how to maneuver safely around on an unfamiliar body of water.

It hasn't rained all year. I decide to go pre fishing for four days and it comes a flood.
