Back em till there is a little over an 8th of an inch left till full. Dont fill em SLAM full when you finish em out, close but not slam full. I only have 5 or 6 hundred feet of my cranking line on top of the filler. break of a couple of times and I re-line.

Doesnt matter really, just something laying around from the green carp days, 20 pound is good cause it fills quicker. When you finish em out try to keep em all close to the same, that way your counters will be pretty close together.

I use 10 pound hi-vis Mr Crappie, alot of folks use a braid but I mainly pull in clean water so I dont have alot of hang ups.

I have the 15's but this is what I did. I zeroed the counter. Then I filled the spool with backing. Then using the counter for a reference I took 300' off reeling on to a diffrent reel. After removing the 300' of line I noted what the counter read. Then I spooled on the line I was using.

The next reel I just spooled on the backing untill I reached the number noted on the previous reel. Then added my main line. Repeated on all other reels. Worked for me.
