    Sounds like cable anchoring. Great choice for about any water depth and seasonal water fluctuation.

    My dock at Ky lake sits on foam floats. Its not styrafoam, its alot more dense and is blue. We cant use styrafoam anymore cause the beavers were eating it up so now its either the blue stuff or the black plastic air filled ones. The dock has been there for 25 yearss and is still fine.

    Well these we're going to look at are supposed to be foam floats not styrofoam, but we'll see.

    You could ask the guy with the foam if he can get more. Make the foam base solid instead of spaced. If your plans are to build more than a deck.
