    He was talkin about the holders themselves. I been thinkin bout it and I cannot come up with a way. I thought maybe mounted on a pivot with a counterweight to keep them level,but that wouldnt do anything for the side rock.

    OK Wilbur, this is actually a 2 part system. First part has to do with slowing the rock and roll of the boat. The next part is in the rod holders themselves. I'm having a time testing because of the calm days but I can get in the main lake at Bay Springs on the weekends and get plenty choppy water. I made a couple videos today that you might be able to see a difference in the boat with and without the stability device deployed. I'm starting very small but I can already tell a difference in the boat movements.

    video on the left is without the device, on the right is where I deployed it, videos shot seconds apart and actually in the second video you can see waves from a boat going by. test
    I just have a rod holder I made with a single rod set up in the videos.
    I'm changing boards on my autopilot, I need more memory than the first one has, but just for pulling cranks it will do just fine, I'm never happy with anything, gotta be tinkering with something!
