EZ a piece of old garden hose in your blueberry bushes will work as well. We put it in ours and in our cataba worm trees as well.
I'm gonna tell my dad bout the white string in the peas.

I planted blueberries in my yard in Pelahatchie 25+ years ago and birds never have bothered them. They eat em up here in Madison. Couldn't get the garden hoses to stay in the bushes good enough, but they did work while they r there.
Where u movin DD?
That thing would keep me out of them berries. My friend took some string and put around his corn patch then every few feet he had a short string with a CD tied to it. They reflect the light at night. He hasn't had any problem with the deer since.

rap will keep anything away IMO
We have these mud martins that wanna build mud nests every year over our windows. We tried the rubber snakes and they held them off for awhile. Soon though, they figured them out and would knock 'em off the casings of the windows. Next I tried mouse traps and they did the job. Didnt ever catch a bird in the trap but I know it scared the crap out of em every time one snapped. Those martins wound up down at the neighbors building on their windows.RoflRoflRofl
