Pull yer prop and check for line. When I pulled out Monday I noticed a small piece coming from the vent. Pulled the prop at lunch and I've got 600 yards of braid that Torch stripped off satdoc's reel the last time he got a wind knot.
No damaged but left unattended it can build heat around the prop shaft seal and cause a faililure.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Another good tip.... Y'all don't throw your goofed up line in the lake!

I wont throw it in the lake but makes you mad when you wrap it up in the prop.

Good tip. And from experience I can attest to the sickening feeling of draining your gear lube and seeing water run out. Expensive too; $1200 20 years ago.
