Default Help pullin cranks with Hiteks

I know several of you use Hitek trolling racks to pull cranks with, I must be doing something wrong. Ihad three different rods today jump out of the holder two only partially came out and one hit the lake, fortunately i retrieved it. I was pullin from the front with the rods out the side. I had the rods perpendicular with the boat and slightly tilted toward the water. Anybody got any suggetions?

I got some angle brackets from the hardware store, drilled them out and mounted them under the holders. They will prevent your rods from coming out.

You have them pointed downward.....I only do that when spider rigging. For pulling cranks with the rods perpendicular to the boat, you should have your rods slightly elevated.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
