    Ha.. Thanks but I ain't no expert..99% of what I've learned bout trolling has been from the good folks on this board.. 99% of them won't steer ya wrong.. They's some good fishermen and even better people on here that know their stuff

    You might take a look at these rod holders, I got to use some recently and they are nice, not anything in the way of grabbing the rod.

    Just sos ya nose, Capps and Coleman's may not be the right choice for you. They won't make much of a push pole the next time you run aground. Way too flimsy. Go with the psts. Pffft.

    +1 on the Hiteks. Go ahead and get a set of extra bases so you can move the from pushing to pulling from the front

    +1 on 10-12 HiViz main line & floro tags 6-8. I like the Vicious panfish hiviz & Trilene floro.

    -1 on the CnC but that's just me.

    Here is what BnM PST 14' w/10 lbs Vicious, 6 lbs Trilene can do with a minnow rig:






    Pretty sure you will be able to handle those freak of nature size crappie over there!

    Here's a tip fer y'all gewbers that use the pst's. A 10' BGJP tip will fit the 14'ers and give you a more sensitive tip for spider rigging. Plus it turns your 14'er into a about a 14'8"er.
