CnCs are great rods but PSTs are good for pulling cranks and spider rigging

You can save money by using a cheaper monofilament 10 lb line and then use your 6 lb leader in the more expensive fluorocarbon. No need in winding all that expensive fluorocarbon up on the reel when 60% of it will probably never get used.....

+1.. I use 15lb hi-vis and 8lb fluorocarbon on the leaders

Caps And Colemans is a different hookset so be ready, cross their eyes and dont let up.

You gonna break that 6lb stuff on dem big uns. Git you some Vicious 10-12 lb Hi Viz fer yer main line. You can see it much better, and use some 8lb Floro for the rigs (leaders).
