And yes he apparantly is reading this forum so I thinks we need to keep our comments about the group at Butla civil, just saying.

They are reading the forum. They had our "Butla start/stop" forum printed off and in their hand when they stopped me and questioned me on Friday.

We need a working relationship with them, hope we can keep the lake on our schedule.

I too want to keep Butla on the schedule, we'll come up with a fair way to pay the permit fee.

If the folks at Butla require us to purchase a permit then we will. If we have it in writing from the others that we don't need one then we won't. Either way we can make it work and keep Butla on the schedule and stay in good graces with the COE and MDWF.

We need to find out who the head man is over all the COE lakes and get a ruling from him. Anyone happen to know who it is or how to comtact him?

Might want to be careful there or you may end up having to pay for permit at all lakes....
