I have done some comparison fishing two poles at the same time rigged just alike.....same jigs and everything.... one with high vis yellow and one with clear and I was catching the same amount of fish on both of them. I prefer the high vis so I can see the line....I think that keeps me ffrom missing fish sometimes as I see the line move.
I tend to think along them lines as well, which is why it is on all my poles. I have talked to a few people about it,n opinion always differs. Never done a side by side comparison tho...pretty dang smart.
