If you can see it better dont you think the fish can see it better too........... When you put something that is high vis in the water, your in the fish's house. I use florocarbon line always whether it is clear water or not. I have compared it side by side too and florocarbon line out performs. I have only compared it once and that was enough.

I prefer the high vis so I can see the line....I think that keeps me ffrom missing fish sometimes as I see the line move.
G, I don't think catching one fish on each is a true comparison

All I use is hi-vis line. If clear line catches more fish then I wouldnt be able to handle it. IMO, in stained water (which is what I fish 99.9% of the time) the fish cannot see it or just dont care...whichever the case may be.

We have fished the same spots many times. Some days you catch more than me, other days I catch more than you. I don't think the hi-vis is a negative for the fish, but no way to know for sure. I do know it helps me, and especially my clients, see the bite. Besides, flourocarbon is expensive and I haven't won 7 or 8 national championships like you! I be poor!

I know there are a lot of hi vis lovers here, but all the rods were rigged the same.Half clear and the other half hi vis ,clear caught more fish.I think from what I'm hearing the advantage is being able to see the line.Well I'm not a geezer yet.lol
