Thanks ScottV I might just get out of the dog house yet with the wife! Nah heck ain't seen her since March 24 and she is due in late Thursday night! She is going to come up and inspect how clean the RV is! This ain't going to be good!!! Any one got any extra bandads that they can share with a Missouri boy?

Heck that is the only way I can stay married is be 265 miles from the house at least 6 months out of the year!

    That's what I use.
I mix one egg and some beer let it set for 15 min to rise and you got fluffy hushpuppies.

That seasoning is the best Ive ever had. Just the right amount of spices. Ate that fish as ScottV and I were cooking and dern ner burst i was so full. And hush puppies were pretty dern good to. By the way Scott you need to start canning that Dill dip and pedling it, that is sure nuf good stuff.

If it's what I think it is, dill dip, Pam, Scott's wife will be glad to sell you the spice package for you to make your own. Pam goes around to craft shows etc, and sells the stuff. Got all kind of spice packages.

I like the Zatarains crispy southern fish fry. I don't do hush puppies anymore. I just make cornbread and put onions and jalepeno peppers in it and bake it. Mighty fine......

Anybody ever tried the Lousiana Fish Fry (BLue Bag)? Just wondering how it compares to the Southern Star.
