Apparently the players were offering "bounties" to injure opposing players and knock them out of the game. Peyton and the defensive coordinator knew about it and did nothing to stop it.

Hell my high school coach did that not with money but extra perks at practise and in class so what they are grown men

The biggest thing that got Patton was he lied to Goodell and told him they had stopped it a couple of years ago and didn't then he told people on staff to lie about it.

Funny how when a few years back the Patroit's head coach, Bill Belacheck, got caught with having spys in the stands zooming in on oposing coaches play calling. CHEATING. CHEATING BIG TIME! And.... this was the season after they had just won the superbowl, AGAIN. What happened to him??? NOTHING!!!!! It was brushed under the table and has never been mentioned since.

Like a linebacker needs a bounty to bust a quarterback's butt. That's his job.
