Default Well, tried spider riggin yesterday for awhile

caught some same fish but to be honest, I was kinda lost on what to do here is the setup I was using, I have 2 jigs with 1/2oz weight on there and and was tryin to keep my speed between 0.8 and 1.0 but it seem that the baits would be tryin to go back under the boat towards the TM. Need some pointers on this if anyone has time to help me out

    thanks

I'm not a pro by any means, but I do spider rig a lot. I try to go slow slow slow. This keeps your bait presentation in front of the fish for a longer period of time and I seem to get more bites. Plus it helps keep your line from going back under the boat. I hope I have helped some.

No expert here, but seems like you are moving way too fast. The right speed is where your lines are just about verticle. Barely moving. This is my opinion only.

SLOW DOWN. I spider rig from 0.1 to about 0.5 at the most. Just depends on what they wanting. Try bout 0.4 to start and vary til you find what they want. Lots of times if you're going real slow and then speed up quickly, you'll get bites

When spider rigging we always try and go anywhere from .1 to .3. Slow, slow, and then slower is the key in most cases.
