Nice pic's! How was the ramp conditions? Last time I was there, thought I was going to have to get pulled up the hill! Seemed to be a depression of some kind where the trailer was sitting in the water and couldn't pull out of it. Finally on the last attempt I made it up the hill. Oh by the way, they always bite the day before! That's a fact.

Bro, the ramp still has that dropoff at the end of the concrete.Launchin was no problem. I have a 1650 express and a 95 chevy s-10 with a 4.3 v6.the water level was high enough that the boat slid off without getting the truck in the lake.once the boat was off I was able to pull the empty trailer back up no problem. Reloading, I backed down till I saw the trailer drop off the concrete then eased back up just enough to put the tires back on the ramp. I was able to trailer the boat with the outboard no problem.A larger boat or longer boat may be a little trickier but with a full size truck or 4x4 I don't think you would have a problem.

Bill, I did both. I trolled against the wind, with the wind, all depths, every kinda color jig, jig minnow, just plain minnow. With nibbles.Couldn't get bit. If I could have caught at least 1 fish, all those signals I was getting would have told me if those were carp, green carp,or crappie.I know there's good crappie in there, I just have to spend some time to figure the lake out!I only fished the outside bend because the other side was windy real bad.I even worked over some laydowns, went back in mosquito, nothing.

Release, those could have been Asian carp on that screen. the wind and waves may have had them a little deeper and they weren't jumpin! I wish I knew.

If you have a Tennessee license, you can fish Dacus with that as long as you are on a boat. On land you have to have Ark. license. The water comes from the Missippi River in Dacus that Ark. and Tenn. share. And Mr. Jim you need to go give it a try.I haven't fished that lake in at least 10 yrs but it still looks the same and given a little time I think I could catch a few out of there!
